The State of Stigma

April 2026 — Understanding Autism and Breaking Down Stereotypes

April 23, 2026 | 12pm

April is Autism Acceptance Month. Service providers, government agencies and community organizations join to increase awareness, encourage acceptance, and create a society where people with autism are supported and understood.

The Anti-Stigma Coalition presents a Facebook Live event on April 23 at noon, titled “Understanding Autism and Breaking Down Stereotypes.” Our panel of experts will separate the myths from the facts and break down stereotypes of this diagnosis. The event is free and open to the public.
