This is the first of a two-part training series.
Mental Health First Aid is an 8-hour course that teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. The training gives you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial help and support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem or experiencing a crisis.
Training is Tuesday February 25th from 8:30-12:30 AND Wednesday February 26th from 8:30-12:30. Must attend both half days to recieve certification and full training.
- You must be at least 18 years of age to attend this training
- Minimum of 10 people must be signed up to hold the training. Subject to be canceled 24 hours in advance.
- You must attend the BOTH days to receive certification.
- There is a small parking lot, otherwise free street parking surrounding the building on Hennepin and Ludington streets.
