Retune marketing puts on Broken World Music Festival, a one-day-only benefit concert for suicide prevention.

This is year four of musicians and bands coming together to raise awareness and funds for an important cause.

Broken World, formerly, Taco Fest started years ago in a high school. Cinco de Mayo fell on a Taco Tuesday that year. A student convinced his teacher to have tacos in class. There wasn’t music. It was just tacos served at 10 AM but turned into faculty and students from all around the school celebrating Cinco de Mayo. That student was a close friend of ours. He was the type of person who would get everybody to sing along if “Sweet Caroline” came on. Well, actually, he probably put it on.

In 2019, we lost our bandmate, classmate, and most of all friend. Since then, we’ve held a music festival as a way to advocate for suicide prevention. A music festival with all day music, food, fun and entertainment raising money for suicide prevention.
Each year, we’ve had over 300 people at the event!

Proceeds from our event this year are going to The Devin Waring Foundation. They are doing great work in the mental health awareness space and help provide resources to our community. Their ongoing fundraising efforts are dedicated to supporting suicide prevention and education, reinforcing our commitment to ensuring that no one faces their struggles alone.
