On Thursday, October 14, 2021, The Erie County Anti-Stigma Coalition hosted a Facebook Live event titled The State of Stigma: Depression Screening & Seeking Treatment. The event is free and open to all community members.
October is National Depression Screening Month. Join us for this month’s Facebook Live and learn about a free, confidential screening tool and why it’s important to seek treatment for depression. If you suffer from depression, you are not alone—more than 50% of Americans now meet the clinical definition of depression or anxiety disorder.
Our regular Facebook live events bring together experts from the mental health field and broader community to share information and about mental health topics and efforts to reduce stigma.
A panel discussion hosted by Karl Shallowhorn, Director of Youth Programs, Mental Health Advocates of WNY.
